Long time, no blog...

Happy May! I hope you're having a good month.
It would appear that I'm not doing any better at blogging regularly - I think I'll just have to settle for sporadic :)

Anyway, here are 3 yarns I've spun in the last several months.

Handspun Yarn I: Live Shrimp

Fiber: Creatively Dyed Milk Protein, Seacell, Wool Roving
Stats: 365 yards (114 g), ~15 wpi (fingering weight)
Ply: 2-ply

Fiber: Merino Batt (I don't remember who I bought this from, but it was at Maryland Sheep & Wool last year)
Stats: 206 yards (114 g), 9-12 wpi (thick & thin worsted weight)

I'm actually making something with this yarn right now, so hopefully I'll have an update on it soon. As you can see, I had a bit of the Falkland singles left-over, so I plied them with one another. I'm not sure what to do with the mini-skein, but I'm sure it will be useful eventually :)

Welcome back! And, as always, thanks for sharing your spinning process. Your spinning is always one of my biggest fiber inspirations. Someday I'll be able to spin even, gorgeous yarns, too!

I love when you post spinning pictures so much that I send the links to all my non-knitting friends. They are even MORE amazed. :D

Awesome spinning, as always--how did you like the Creatively Dyed fiber blend?

Nothing wrong with sporadic blogging, as far as I'm concerned! :)

If this is the price for sporadic blogging, spin on! Just lovely colors; I can't decide which I like the most. :)
