Recent Spinning Projects...
Long time, no blog...
Happy May! I hope you're having a good month.
It would appear that I'm not doing any better at blogging regularly - I think I'll just have to settle for sporadic :)
Anyway, here are 3 yarns I've spun in the last several months.
Handspun Yarn I: Live Shrimp
Fiber: Creatively Dyed Milk Protein, Seacell, Wool Roving
Stats: 365 yards (114 g), ~15 wpi (fingering weight)
Ply: 2-ply
Handspun Yarn II: Four-color
Fiber: Merino Batt (I don't remember who I bought this from, but it was at Maryland Sheep & Wool last year)
Stats: 206 yards (114 g), 9-12 wpi (thick & thin worsted weight)
Ply: single ply
Handspun Yarn III: Turkish Delight
Fiber: Enchanted Knoll Farm Alpaca Silk Merino Batts & Purple Fleece Falkland Top
Stats: 744 yards (219 g), ~18 wpi (light fingering weight)
Ply: 2-ply
I'm actually making something with this yarn right now, so hopefully I'll have an update on it soon. As you can see, I had a bit of the Falkland singles left-over, so I plied them with one another. I'm not sure what to do with the mini-skein, but I'm sure it will be useful eventually :)

You have been busy spinning! They all look super!
Your spinning is wonderful, My spinning is nothing compared to this!
Nice yarns! I really like the singles.
Welcome back! And, as always, thanks for sharing your spinning process. Your spinning is always one of my biggest fiber inspirations. Someday I'll be able to spin even, gorgeous yarns, too!
I love when you post spinning pictures so much that I send the links to all my non-knitting friends. They are even MORE amazed. :D
Beautiful! I love the 4 color. It's striking!
They are all beautifully spun! I love the middle one -those colours are great!
Gorgeous handspun and cute cats playing with it. It's like knitter p0rn. :)
What lovely handspun, I aim for yarn like that!
Beautiful, as always! I especially love that 4-color one :)
Hope you're doing well!

Awesome spinning, as always--how did you like the Creatively Dyed fiber blend?
Nothing wrong with sporadic blogging, as far as I'm concerned! :)
If this is the price for sporadic blogging, spin on! Just lovely colors; I can't decide which I like the most. :)
