Comment: A little challenging to spin, but I love this color.

Comment: Polwarth is somewhat different than other wools I've spun. It feels soft and wonderful, but seems to eat up a lot more plying twist than I'm used to. I need to practice more with this fiber :)

Absolutely breathtaking! I tried to pick a favorite, but couldn't. I'm in awe. It gives me hope, too, to see all your lovely single ply lace weights. I love knitting with 1-ply lace yarns, but my own singles always seem too kinky. Must try again. Thanks for sharing the fabulous photos and notes!

These are all so gorgeous I don't think I can pick a favorite! (I so did not need to know that BMFA is dyeing fiber now, though.)
I LOVE that deep red one! And I think I'm convinced now to try one of Spunky's progression colorways...just need to find the time to spin again!
These are all SO gorgeous! I've really gotta work on my finer-weight spinning -- I seem to consistently get about 200 yards (of 2-ply) from 4oz. There's only so much of that kind of yarn I can take!

Hello. I was reading an older blog post of yours from January 19, 2009, called Christmas Knitting Wrap Up.I too grew up with those stockings. My Great Aunt made one for everyone in our extended family. Is there any way I can get the pattern for these from you?
This is the first time I have ever been able to find anything on the internet about these stockings. I would love to be able to make these for my husband and our
